The headlight assembly seals can wear out over time resulting in water leaks and repeat bulb failures. Water can enter the module electrical connector causing headlight faults. If this happens to you, you will have to replace the headlight, the electrical harness and the HID module. When replacing headlight bulbs, you can access the high beam bulb from inside the engine compartment; however the low beam bulb can only be accessed from the front wheel well.
There is a small access door in the front wheel well liner for changing the low beam bulb. You can also remove the front portion of the wheel well liner, which I prefer to do as it makes access a lot easier. The procedure below highlights halogen style bulb replacing. Xenon bulb is similar. Xenon bulb replacing will be explained after halogen style bulb. To access low beam bulb without removing front section of wheel well liner, remove the access door.

With the access door removed, you can service the low beam headlight bulb green arrow or the turn signal bulb yellow arrow. To replace low beam bulb, unlock spring on headlight bulb access door. Disconnect headlight electrical connector by pulling straight off. Unclip headlight bulb retaining spring green arrow. Unclip toward turn signal and fold clip down. Pull headlight bulb out of headlight and replace. Reverse instructions for reassembly.
Be sure headlight bulb is seated properly before locking retaining spring. Connect electrical connector and check bulb operation. With front section of fender liner removed, unlock spring on headlight bulb access door.
When replacing Xenon bulbs, remove the front section of wheel well liner, see our tech article on wheel well liner removing. Then remove the bulb access door.
The access door on Xenon models covers both bulbs. Unclip door and remove from headlight. To replace bulb, pull electrical connector straight off, unclip retaining spring and pull headlight bulb out of headlight assembly. Xenon headlight models utilize a halogen style high beam, see high beam bulb replacing above for the steps needed to replace it.

To do this, use a plastic prying tool or lever out using your finger and lever washer out.
Models with headlight washers: Then grab and pull straight out of headlight, then use a small flathead screwdriver to detach locking clips green arrows and remove. When nozzle is pulled out a small squirt of washer fluid is ejected, stay out of way of spray. Working inside wheel well, remove T30 Torx fastener. Working at front of headlight, remove two T30 Torx fasteners.
Working at top of headlight, remove two T30 Torx fasteners. Pull out and remove headlight slightly, detach headlight washer hose and electrical connector green arrow. The life-time of a bulb is limited. Sooner or later, it will burn out and will have to be replaced.
Bulbs, made of high quality materials, tend to last longer. It's recommended to use well known brand replacement bulbs. If bulb burns out right after installation, your vehicle might have a problem inside electrical system - have it checked by auto electrician.
Tip: Never touch glass housing of a halogen bulb with your fingers. Greasy spots might cause premature failure of the bulb. Handle the bulb by its base or use a piece of clean paper when installing. To make sure you are fully visible on the road it's recommended to review whether the headlights are glowing.
Normally the fault of the headlight is a consequence of obsolete bulb, therefore obstacles on the road can become harder to notice at nighttime. In parallel your car may be obscure for the other road users. If you have spotted, that the headlight has gone out, do not hesitate and replace the bulb asap.
Before getting ready to fix dead, be sure you hold genuine bulb. Keep in mind that other drivers might not be aware of a headlight failure on his vehicle, please be responsible and tell the driver about it. Prevent the vehicle to be involved in the accident. How to replace headlight bulb:. Open the hood. Disconnect the headlight's wiring that supplies power to a bulb usually no tools are needed, use you hands. Remove the bulb cover by turning it counter-clockwise till it can be easily pulled out.

Test if headlights work. Headlight bulb replacement instructions for:. Contact us: webmaster garagenotes. The two teams combined to gain a full 7. We can expect both defenses to struggle getting stops in the rematch as well. They allowed 38 points, 30 first downs and total 488 yards, all season highs. Even with Darrelle Revis in the mix, this is NOT a good pass defense right now, bad news against Derek Carr and company. And even without Amari Cooper, the Raiders offense will get a boost with the return of Michael Crabtree from his one game suspension.
He brings an energy and brings a personality that kind of gets guys going a little bit and makes it fun to be out there. It's certainly awesome to have his talent back. Both teams rank in the bottom quartile of the NFL in sack percentage, which means that both Derek Carr and Alex Smith should have some clean pockets to throw from.
On a beautiful sunny December afternoon at Arrowhead, we should expect a Shootout. Edges - Browns: 10-2 ATS home versus non-conference foes in the first of consecutive home games Packers: 2-9 ATS versus sub.
Thank you and good luck as always. FREE KEY SYSTEM: Teams are 55-38-1 ATS since 2002 after a game where the longest rush allowed in the previous game was 72 yards or more. The Titans are dead-locked with the Jaguars for the AFC South lead and face a tough two game road trip in the Pacific Northwest, facing the Cardinals this week and then at San Francisco.
Note though that the Titans have excelled in this spot for bettors, going 6-3 ATS in their last nine non-conference games and and 2-1 ATS in their last three as a road favorite of three points or less. Conversely, this is a spot in which Arizona has struggled, going just 4-9 ATS in its last 13 as an underdog and only 4-14 ATS in its last 18 against teams with winning records.
Consider laying the points on the red hot Titans. McAdoo and Reece are gone and Eli is back but that doesn't affect the product the Giants put on the field which at this point is pretty poor. At 6-6, the Cowboys are on a respirator for the playoffs and have the toughest schedule down the stretch of any of the peripheral teams.
Sean Lee is back to anchor the defense and a win here and at Oakland next week would put Dallas as 8-6 with a home game vs. Seattle and at Philly to finish the season. Zeke is reliable in the Christmas EVE game against Seattle.
Regardless, the Cowboys need help and lot of it. Pokes here have had extra time and face Giant offense that turns the ball over regardless of who is quarterbacking and is just 10-41 on third down the last three games.
Big Blue defense is worn down and tired and has just been on the field too long. Giants won in Week One 19-3 but that was with just 16 points in four visits to the red zone. They'll hit paydirt several time here. Nathan is the Co-Founder and Partner of Genius Tech Group.Sure enough, our new survey shows Chinese consumers following the anticipated pattern.
When we asked how they plan to increase spending as their income increases, dramatically fewer consumers said they will increase it on food (46 percent in the latest survey, compared to the 76 percent who said they would do so three years earlier). Responses trended slightly up for healthcare products (from 16 percent to 17 percent), and increased for travel (from 14 percent to 23 percent) and leisure (from 17 percent to 25 percent).
In our previous predictions, we also argued that as the income of Chinese consumers grew, they would aspire to improve their quality of life by not only spending more on discretionary items, but also by shifting their spending to more expensive items in the same categories.
In necessity categories such as food, for example, we predicted consumers would be willing to spend more for healthier versions of the same productsfor instance, that olive oil would grow much faster than less healthy (and less expensive) oils. In seminecessity categories like apparel, we predicted people would buy more special-occasion and premium brands.
We anticipated that the strongest beneficiaries of these changes would be in the more discretionary and aspirational categories, such as skincare and automotive. So what has happened so far. Premium categories have really accelerated.
Comparing cosmetics purchases between 2011 and 2015, 44 percent of consumers have traded up their purchases, compared with 4 percent who traded down. Even for rice, 25 percent of consumers traded up versus 3 percent who traded down. Automotive was not included in our survey, but sales data from the Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security in China suggest significant trading up.
In 2011, 51 percent of the renminbi spent on cars by Chinese consumers were for autos cheaper than 100,000 RMB. These sales accounted for only 43 percent of the market.
Cars selling for 100,000 to 250,000 RMB grew twice as fast with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19 percent versus 9 percent. And cars with price tags between 250,000 and 400,000 RMB grew the fastest of all, with 23 percent CAGR. In 2011, we observed a big generational difference between consumers in their late 50s and early 60s, who were very conservative spenders, and all of the age cohorts younger than them.
We predicted that by 2020, as the needs of consumers over the age of 55 changed along with their economic confidence, their spending habits would follow suit, making this age group worth pursuing by consumer-product companies. If anything, we underestimated the speed and force with which this trend would unfold.
For example, 52 percent of the people in this age group showed a preference for premium products, compared to just 32 percent in 2012. They leaped from being the most conservative age group to the one most likely to trade up.
Similarly, the preference for famous brand names among these older buyers jumped by more than 20 percent, fully closing the previous difference among cohorts. That said, the upper age group has remained more pragmatic and cost conscious than any other age group, as we discuss in the following section. Our trip went very smoothly, and Nordic Visitor did an excellent job of organizing everything for us.
I would absolutely use the company again. Nordic Visitor did a great job taking care of us. They took care of the logistics so we could focus on enjoying the trip. They were readily available while we were on the road too - they provided us with a local cell phone which was very useful.
On the downside it is an expensive country to visit and if you are a North American you might find the driving to be a bit white knuckle - those are narrow lanes.
We arranged our trip through Jelena at Nordic Visitor. Having visited Denmark and Norway I had an idea of what to expect but nothing prepares you for the beauty and friendliness of Iceland. The whole experience was a complete joy and the variation arranged by Jelena between urban and rural lodging was the perfect balance for my son ( aged 25 ) and myself ( considerably older. I would have no hesitation in using Nordic Visitor for my next trip to Iceland and have already advised friends this is the company to use for their trip.
We really enjoyed our time in Iceland and largely it was due to the excellent preparation you sent us. To have the maps with all the advice in front of us was terrific.
In fact, I have just spent most of this morning talking to friends who are in the midst of planning a trip to Iceland in the near future. They were very impressed by the organisation and information you provided us. We're currently considering coming back for 10 days in 2016. We'll keep in touch.
Thank you so much again.
Nordic Visitor went above and beyond. I have travelled extensively and I was incredibly impressed with everything about your agency. I loved the experience from the time I booked until the time we left Iceland. It was a flawless experience. Loved, loved, loved it. Loved my rental car.Capri pants for girls
Loved my maps, loved the highlighted route that Hilmar did for us. From the onset, the communications with Nordic Visitor were really good. We were able to select the tour that best fit our needs and the experience was extraordinary.
In our particular case, there were two labor strikes at KEF that had an impact on our arrival and departure times. Nordic Visitor notified us before the airline about the strike and the impact on flight scheduled, adjusted our tour schedule to accommodate us and even make up some of the lost time.
While on day 2, they called the tour guide and notified him of our schedule change the following day due to the second labor strike at the airport. The two key events on our short stay were absolutely fantastic, even to the point of us doing it again. The people were wonderful, helpful, and the tour out of this world exciting. Whatever good expectations we had were vastly exceeded by the quality and dedication of Nordic Visitor.
We would absolutely go to them again for our next and future visits to Iceland and other Nordic countries. The tour guides in each city were charming and very knowledgeable. The accommodations were lovely and the included breakfasts at each hotel and on the ship were generous and delicious. The trip was well organized and we had a fabulous time.
